Three-Phase Bridge Rectifiers: What the 415 V Supply Really Gives You
Why does a three-phase bridge turn a 415 V supply into roughly 560 V of DC? The 415 V on the label is an RMS figure between two lines, and the bridge grabs the peaks. Multiply the RMS value by about 1.35 and you land close to the output. Most buyers never do that sum, and it's the first thing that decides which rectifier they need.
