You should give a proper Call-To-Action (CTA) to your social media posts because it will guide your audience on what to do after reading your post. Even a highly engaging post may fail to generate interaction without a proper CTA. The main purpose of CTAs is to guide and encourage users to make a decision. This is an important part of learning how to write social media content.

 

For example, if you are making a post on digital marketing course, you can include ‘Join Now’ as your CTA. A CTA can convert passive readers into active participants.

 

Attractive headlines 

Your social media posts should have an eye catchy headline which will attract the attention of online users. If your headline is attractive, it will be noticed by online users before other social media posts. They will also feel tempted to read the subject matter of your posts, thus boosting engagement.  

 

Add some images 

 

When you are creating any social media post, it is recommended that you add images to your content. It has been found that online users have a preference for visual content. They will feel more interested in your content. It helps in better engagement. You can convey your message through visuals and videos.  

 

Use hashtags

 

Another way by which you can boost engagement is to use hashtags in a smart way. Hashtags help in increasing the visibility of a social media post by making them discoverable to a broad section of viewers. However, do not use too many hashtags because it will give a cluttered appearance to your post. It is recommended that you use popular hashtags relevant to your posts in a balanced manner. This will attract the right viewers, thus improving engagement.

 

Social media posts have the ability to grow your business. Writing social media posts requires a combination of creativity, psychology and strategy.  You can try out some of the above mentioned methods for creating proper social media posts and increase engagement.
